How Easy is it to Install SafeDefence Barriers in a Warehouse?

When it comes to ensuring safety, simplicity is key. Complex safety systems which require multiple components or installation procedures can leave too much room for error. This is why our SafeDefence protection systems have been designed to be as straightforward as possible, meaning they are not only easy to install in the first instance, but can also be easily replaced if damaged.

Simple Components = Simple Installation and Repair

Whilst there are several different products and configurations available within the SafeDefence range, their construction is broadly the same. As the two renders below illustrate, they fundamentally comprise a polymer outer sleeve, which is fitted around a steel rod anchoring system installed in a pre-cored hole in the floor filled with grout. This single-threaded anchor helps to provide exceptional impact resistance whilst minimising any potential damage to the concrete floor on impact.

Having this solid steel support at the centre of the product also means that if the polymer sleeve is damaged in any way, through an impact event or otherwise, it can easily be taken off and replaced — making the protection system fully functional and allowing spaces to be protected again quickly.

It's noteworthy that speed of installation is often a key deciding factor when choosing protection systems. The majority of SafeDefence Protection Systems arrive at the site pre-assembled and ready for installation, so there is no need for assembly prior to installation. This coupled with the simple threaded rod anchoring system, means that SafeDefence protection systems are typically installed in approximately 50% of the time when compared to comparable protection systems.

Do we offer any installation training?

No matter the size of the project, we are always on hand to provide specialist installation training and product demonstrations. Helping to ensure a basic level of competency, the training covers the unloading, handling, and installation procedures for the various impact protection systems we offer.

SafeDefence has the specialised teams that can support any installation process across Australia and New Zealand.
